The camera is easy to instal and it is clear enough for life view and view back later on. However, they have two designs on the neck twist on the camera, and one of them the screw is week and easy to break. FYI. Just carefully to screw in and don't force to hard on it. PS: I like this product and also introduced it to my friends.

Works great over POE and nice quality video for price. Would recommend. Reolink software not exactly greatcrashes a lot, however using these with a DVR software that is 3rd party working out good. Using these with QNAP NAS perfectly.

It's good for the money. Be sure to buy a PoE injector or provide a separate power supply. The draw of a PoE injector is you only have to run one cable, the ethernet.Pros:Decent resolution for sixty $.Transition between sudden light/dark changes is 2 seconds. The capture rate is quick enough to catch individual finger movementDefaults to DHCP and has a built-in web server so you can use some beginner network-fu to find the IP and browse right to it in your web browser. Technically, no phone app or dedicated PC app are required as a result, it just requires a bit more technical knowledge to go this route.Cons:The web-client uses Adobe Flash. This software repeatedly sets records for the massive amounts of security vulnerabilities associated with it.meaning it's easy for hackers to compromise these devices. Flash is thus notoriously unreliable software and has all but died a slow, agonizing death over recent years. Apps that have been written in Flash should be rewritten in the more secure HTML5 language. This product is no exception, especially considering it's a security device. The groupings of IR LED lights around the lens that shine to enable nightvision are visible to the eye. Meaning, this camera stands out like somebody is shining a very, very weak laser pointer out from the cameragiving away its position more easily. This is NOT how good quality IR LEDs are meant to work. The premise is IR LEDs are invisible to the human eye, but visible to electronic devices. Example: Hit a button on your TV remote while pointing it directly at your phone's camera lens. You'll see the light through your phone's screen, but that same purple-ish, sometimes red light is invisible to the naked eye. These must be poorer quality LEDs, or they're amped up to such a high voltage part of the red spectrum becomes visibleagain, it's not a very expensive camera, but this eliminates any ability to 'hide' the camera in a good spot.My camera's firmware was dramatically out of date on arrival, meaning these have been sitting on Amazon's shelves for some time. I updated the firmware (easy enough, possible through a variety of well-documented ways) and my version jumped from v2.0.0.889_. to v2.0.0.1288_ Not to mention the web client was updated during the process as well. Update yours now.===Overall: OK for the price, good for a first security camera, not discreet

What I like about this camera is the ability to record to local storage on my network avoiding having to pay for cloud storage. I use a Cisco 3750G switch to power it via POE.

The Reolink 4MP camera produces a clear and bright image and is my favorite among several different brands of fixed focal length IP cameras that I have bought and use. I also own and use the Reolink 4X zoom camera and am likewise pleased with it.

Maybe I misunderstood, I thought it was supposed to do do voice also. Other than that, it works well.

Great quality, east to set up and crystal clear

Great quality, east to set up and crystal clear footage. Its great to be able to remotely access the camera without having to set up anything like port forwarding or remembering a specific IP.Cons:When switching from Night-vision to Color, it has a 3 second delay in which it captures nothing. If the camera is in a dark room and then someone opens a door from the outside, you may miss them as it wont capture while switching. I found a fix that by forcing the camera to be in night-vision mode at all times however this might not work for everyone. The software is easy to use and has some good features. However, its biggest flaw is how it saves files onto our local server. It creates a folder that it can not access so your only playback is by manually going to each file it saves. There is also no setting to warn or begin to delete old files when space is low. The only way to access playback and auto delete is to buy their NVR, use another software, or purchase the camera with a built in SD card.Since the remote view is handled by reolink server, It has gone down 1 since I had it. Using a VPN to access the cameras locally is the only way to view them remotley when their servers are down.
