Love the fact that it fits in my camera bag when folded up. The tripod is sturdy enough to support my pro body camera.

Decent tripod for occasional use; lightweight, fairly sturdy, and compact.

What can I say about this that hasn't already been said? I have had this for a few years now and used it occasionally up until about 2 years ago. I use it about 2-3 times a week now for a side job and it works, though I must admit, a bit grudgingly. It is a decent tripod for occasional use and even for travel because of it's compactness and light weight but I would not recommend this if you plan on using it for any more than that. The rubber on the knobs will loosen over time and become annoying to use, the ball head attachment will break off if you mishandle it (possibly causing damage to your camera) and the leg knobs loosen up without warning. Also, if you use a full frame camera, the ball head will just barely support it, depending on weight of camera, accessories and lens. I use a D750 w/battery pack and a Tokina 16-28mm for my work and it will keep it steady, though I don't believe anything much heavier will work. Bottom line: don't buy this if you plan on using a tripod for your job; spend the money and get something like a Manfrotto or Sirui. Now, that being said, I was able to fix the issue of the broken attachment with some cyanoacrylate glue but not the rubber on the knobs. Also, the locking knobs on the legs are a major source of irritation for me because they tend to loosen up with no warning whatsoever. This has almost caused the tripod with my camera to topple over at one point; fortunately, I was able to catch it just in the nick of time.

Not very well made, but it's a decent tripod not really worth it in my opinion.

Worth every penny as a backpacking unit

wow it is amazing, perrrrrrrfect for what I was looking for. Small and light will be carried on hikes and used with light weight camera equipment. Its main use will be macro. I read some complaints but they were probably from people that expected to use it with a 600mm lens or something.

Nice travel tripod. Shakes a little. Requires 2 sec timer delay for no shake shots. The legs will collapse if locks are bumped.

Fits in nicely with the case on

Really light and small! It solved my problem of carrying a tripod in my back pack! Fits in nicely with the case on. The rubber pads on top came off. Not the miost stable tripod to do serious long exposure but but good for most Nishant photography around town during travel. The head is flimsy and at times wobbly. I use a wireless remote so it is less of an issue. I am a photography enthusiast and not a professional. It is the best I can do to invest in a good travel tripod.

Love that it is carbon fiber, light weight, and very compact. However after just several uses I pulled a leg out already. I'm probably rougher with my equipment than must people, but still happen just like that, Still usable leg just doesn't stop from coming completely off.

Very light and compact so super easy to pack in a small bag and carry

Used it on a long vacation. Very light and compact so super easy to pack in a small bag and carry around. Mounting plate fits A6300 and the tripod had no issue holding A6300+80-200mm tele lens. The mounting plate can be adjusted to avoid blocking a tilt or pull-out display. the ball head had large knobs and smooth operations. The hex nuts that hold the legs did loosen during the vacation but the two hex tools included in the carry cased were conveniently provided.

Strong And Light And Great Price

This is a strong, reasonably lightweight tripod for a great price. Why pay more? I was worried about sturdiness, but I had it up in strong winds of NM desert, on a wood porch, and was sturdy enough for crisp images using 300mm equivalent lens f4 lens with 6 second exposures at sunrise. Could have used a weight if it got worse. I agree that you would not put up the second upper segment under these conditions, so I stuped down a little. No big deal.

This tripod is great. Light and packs up very small. Use it for hiking and getting shots in the backcountry. It's sturdy. Wouldn't put it up in super strong winds, but probably wouldn't put many tripods up in conditions like that. I've had it in a shallow part of a river before and felt secure in its stability. I love it. You can take the ball off if you want to upgrade to a fancier ball, but truthfully, the one thats there does the job for me.For people looking to have a tripod while they hike and don't want to be burdened by a heavy duty tripod- this is a great option.
