Nothing compares to having an SSD drive (unless it's NVMe lol). I used to have a WD Green 1TB drive before this one, and the thing was starting to grow extremely slow on me. As soon as windows decided to do its automatic defragging, it was game over, I couldn't use the drive at all. This SSD made a HUGE difference.Unlike what most ppl recommend, to get an SSD for just OS or OS and most played games, I am gonna go against that recommendation and say that you should get one SSD that fits your entire storage needs, and here's why: I noticed that my whole system ran faster when I had everything installed and ran off the SSD rather than having this and another drive. Moreover, the operating system will try and index things on the slower drive and possibly defrag it, or even page file into it, and while it's doing that it will hurt performance of the SSD drive.
