I have cloned a ton of hard drives over the years BUT by far this was the most straight forward error free process i have ever worked with. 1TB (2 eaual partitions) completed within 20 minutes. The data on the original drive was about 50% of capacity. Also a noticeable performance increase on the recipient laptop.

Possible headache with ryzen windows 10 builds

So first ssd purchase, and wow! Amazing load times and overall performance Increase. One issue that I have found on ryzen builds with windows 10 prof is that the disk drive utilization can be maxed at 98-100% even during idle operations. This slows down performance and is a headache to fix. With a mechanical drive this lead to 10 second freezes maybe 1-3 times a day. With the ssd my system crashed every 20 minutes while idle/updating windows. Once I fixed the utilization problem the drive works like a charm! Just a warning if you have a ryzen system. Cheers!
