I bought this to track the dude who drives my family around. Since he is a new hire, trust was an issue. Thanks to Amcrest, I know now that he is as honest and hard working as he claims. I would like to add that I am using this app in the Middle East and it works extremely well. Additionally, I have that other highly acclaimed GPS tracker from AmericaLoc, which is almost twice as expensive, with no visible benefits over this one except their annual price is much cheaper. So pick your poison, either pay now or pay later. However, their interface is very kludgy and unfriendly compared to the Amcrest interface. One thing that could use an improvement is an update to the polling interval. For example, is it 15 seconds or 30 seconds or 180 seconds? I have no idea. It should be user-selectable as this has a direct impact on battery life. With the factory settings in place, I get about ten days of battery life and if I were to guess this is with a 30 second polling interval. That's pretty amazing.I do wish there was a yearly deal that saved you a bit of money because 20 bucks a month is too high for most of us. But I guess you can't have it all. On the plus side, it's month to month with no contract and no obligation to continue.
