There is a reason that Xerox is known as the document people, and this budget entry into the Xerox line of professional scanning Solutions doesn't disappoint. Excellent scan quality and ease-of-use complement the overall stability and durability of this scanner, which is fantastic for localized desktop use. It comes with a host of good quality software including simple document management as well as a robust OCR solution. I have deployed these in multiple places for many users and I have yet to receive any complaints so this is a very good scanner and if you want something that'll do the job and give you a good control over document management this may be exactly what you're looking for.

The scanner works great for various types of scanning. I have installed two of these scanners at a remote location and the users have have scanned ID cards, legal and letter size documents. The ID card scanning is a bit tricky to work out, but when done correctly, works great every time. I wish they would have included a slot to put the card in that fits it perfectly, but on an inexpensive scanner, you have to make your choices. If you only need a small desktop scanner that scans at about 25 to 30 pages per minute, you can't go wrong with the 3120.
