I've tried a ton of wifi cams, and these are the best I've tried. Have never dropped wifi signal and video is always smooth, not choppy. Motion tracking works quite well, movement alarms are great, though a bit limited in that it only records 6 or 10 seconds. I have two of these mounted under the eaves of my garage. They have survived several downpours, though not technically waterproof. Have not been through a WNY winter yet, but for the feature set, video quality, and price, they are a bargain. Allows for two way audio, which works fine, and night vision is actually quite good. Already captured vid of a guy trying to break into our cars at 4AM. Well worth $50. Get a cheap SD card and forgo the monthly charge for the Yi cloud storage. My main problem with these cams is the monitoring software is proprietary. I would prefer to use my own monitoring software but they only work with Yi app. If anyone figures a way to hack these so they can be used in off the shelf monitoring software, let me know.
