The document feeder handles up to about 12 sheets at a time pretty well. Any more than that and it jams up or pulls multiple pages through together. Compact and fast. Good value for the price.

So I'm the type of consumer that does hours worth of research before purchasing a product. Originally I was looking at Fujitsu scanners given they have a lot of support and a plethora of fantastic reviews. The things that I was looking for when considering a scanner was ADF, OCR, Duplex Scanning, Bundled Software, budget friendly. This particular scanner has all of those features it really looks to be the best in its class which would be more of a mid-level scanner. I knew I would not get the type of performance expected with a Fujitsu scanner however I did have Stacks and stacks of paper and documents to scan on behalf of an aging mother and found a good deal on this product. It 100% does what it says it will do which is scan multiple documents quickly and relatively easily. If you're like me and looking for a straightforward review then these are the takeaways as far as annoyances for meI do actually tend to have a paper jam more than I would like to. Which each time requires you turn off the scanner open the scanner and remove the jam. Which means you need to start your scanned job from the beginning. The entire purpose for ADF is hopefully so that you can input documents and forget about them while they scan doing other things. However with this scanner I tend to have to monitor the documents I'm scanning.This also holds true for dual feeding. The instructions indicate that you should put a slight gap between pages from the perspective of giving the first page several mm of lead the head of the following page. Even if I do this I still end up with either jams or double feeding of pages.The other thing that I find cumbersome is configuring the software to consistently allow ADF scanning at Optimum settings allowing them to be searchable PDF. I found that a barrier to becoming paper list for me has been my inability to determine a strategy to scan a variety of documents in bulk and leverage any sort of OCR naming convention. Which leads to the only other strategy I know of which would allow me to scan everything and be done with it which is scan all documents at once and retroactively search and name them.This could totally just be user error which is why I am not writing this product lower than four stars however I do believe that given the jams double feeding and cumbersome software there is room for improvement with this product.I will admit that as other purchasers have indicated there are Parts contained on this product that do feel like they are at risk of breaking. In particular the reciprocating arms that are extended when using ADF feel rather flimsy.For the price I'm not upset that I purchased this just feel there is a bit of a learning curve within the existing software or need to upgrade software leverage when performing scans.
