The pictures from this lens are great, it's tack sharp across the whole frame and very easy to carry around. Used with AF on a dual-pixel C100 video camera, the continuous autofocus works great as long as you point it at an object with texture/contrast. Note that this lens does NOT support continuous auto iris (only 1-shot push-to-update) on Canon cinema cameras. Its only problem is that the focus ring is electronic and not mechanical, so manual focus is difficult. There isn't a 1:1 relationship between the ring and the focus position. It would be difficult to use in manual when shooting video handheld, for example, or with a moving subject.
