Electronics TV Mount 55 And /65 And No Gap Wall Mount ()

I was prompted by the ""frequently bought together"" advert. This is my TV: ""Samsung QN55Q8F FLAT 55"" QLED 4K UHD 8 Series Smart TV 2018"". And the wall mount says: ""2018 Models: Compatible with 65"" And 55"" QLED TVs: Q9FN, Q7FN, Q7CN"" Very confusing. Anyway, the mount doesn't fit my TV and I have to return it.

Works fine but drywall anchors were not included and mounting plate is a little short. I ended up using 1/4"" lag bolts in the center holes into a stud then had to buy drywall anchors from HD for the other holes.

Installed this for a recently purchased 65"" Q7FN. Installed as advertised. TV front to the wall is 1 7/8"" Took about an hour. Samsung strongly recommends you put in at least 4 screws to the wall. They provide 10 in 2 sized with wall anchors. I also used 2 lag bolts (into the one stud) plus 'mollies' as well as 4 of their larger screws with plastic anchors. My only comment is that it could have been a little wider which would have allowed me to catch more studs.. It can be angled down relatively easily and adjusted 6 degrees to ensure level.My only hope is that Samsung continues to tweak ambient mode so the TV truly does disappear into the wall.
