It's ok, because the touch screen works. However, there are other issues with this replacement digitizer.First of all, the magnetic sensing feature is no longer functional after the replacement. Original iPad sleeps or awakes upon the closing or opening of the magnetic smart cover. I took extra care to place the small magnets (taken from the original digitizer) to the corresponding locations of the replacement digitizer. (I heard that forgetting those magnets is the major cause of losing magnetic sensing functionality.) But still the iPad now does not respond to the magnetic smart cover any moreSecondly, I notice that if the area (on the touch screen) close to the home button is pressed hard enough, the home button is triggered I think there might be some design issue related to the mechanical structure of the home button, but I cannot be certain. It is installed and sealed. At least it works for the primary purpose.
