Better Stabilization than a GoPro, and for me that is number one! I record from my plane, and there is always going to be vibration when doing this. This is the best action cam I've tried yet for stabilization. It's not perfect, but it's very good at getting rid of the wavy ness and vibration. I have several other cameras, including an older Sony action cam as100v. This is of course better in every way (no surprise). Battery life came up a little short. Only got about 1:45 or so on 1080p 60fps vivid, pro etc. I need to see if I have wifi, gps, etc. on as I can turn those off and hopefully get past 2 hours. It's laid out better than the older sony cams, but the menu system is still a little crappy and harder to use than it should be (just doesn't feel intuitive to me) but either way, I can stumble through the menu system as long as it records well, and it does. Other nice features of these cameras: They can live output a feed through HDMI, this is a huge feature they also have mic inputs.. this is also super important for some of us.
