My wife and I have had Galaxy S7s for over two years now and haven't had any major issues. My soon to be teenage son was chomping at the bit to get one of our phones as a hand me down so that he could have a phone of his own. After reviewing prices and features of newer models, we decided that we were happy with what we had and that if he wanted a G S7 of his own, we would be better off just buying him one outright rather than switching things around and paying more through a wireless provider. So far, everyone is happy. These are supposed to be water resistant but so far I haven't been unlucky enough to really have to check that out. One of the downsides to that is the battery is no longer user replaceable but my battery still seems to be doing fairly well at this age, much better than the one on the S4 that it replaced. There are so many counterfeit Samsung OEM batteries in the market that it is downright confusing to try and choose a replacement battery anyway.
