I didn't buy this headset from Amazon, but rather from a local computer store. So I was looking for an alternative to Steelseries Arctis 3 for my Nintendo Switch, since they aren't sold in my country at reasonable price. Then a seller showed me this headset and I bought it, though I never tried it but I greatly trust Corsair, since they make great products. Note that Corsair HS50 wasn't available by the time I bought the headset on Friday August 3rd this year.Anyway, onto the headset itself, the build quality is amazing. The first time I held it, it felt light, certainly lighter than my old Siberia V2 that I have right now and the metal structure gives you the feeling that it is durable enough to last for a very long time. The headset is very comfortable to wear for a long gaming session without being tired and the stitches that are sewn on it gives it a premium look for a mid-range headset. The detachable mic makes the headset more portable to bring the public without looking weird, but make sure that the mic port is closed with the rubber plug that comes with the headset itself. The only thing that I would have wished for the headset is the ability to rotate the cups 90 degrees to rest the headset on your neck without the feeling of being strangled. Now for the important part of the review: Sound/Audio. This is possibly the best headset at its price range when it comes to audio. While it may or not compete with the likes of HyperX Cloud II, the HS60 still produces a great sound quality. The bass is not too powerful to hurt your ears which is a plus to me. It also produces a clear sound, which I could hear details in the way that I never did with my old earbuds when playing with my Nintendo Switch. The mic, while it's not as good as a standalone one, still produce a clear sound when heard by others. Its unidirectional build reduces the noise from the surroundings, which allows me to talk to my friends without being embarrassed by my room's background noise. Again, for the sound, this is one of the best headsets you can at this price that may rival big guns like Steelseries Arctis 3, Logitech G433 and Even HyperX Cloud II, dare I say.Likes:- Superb sound quality- Impressive build quality- Comfortable enough to wear it for a long gaming sessions.- Detachable mic adds portability to the headset.Dislikes: nothing that I disliked about the headset, but I wish that you can rotate the cups so that you can rest it on your neck without feeling strangled.Overall, if you're looking for a headset that produces great sound, and has a premium build quality that rivals other competitors of the same features without burning your wallet, then look no further, this headset is for you.
