I ordered this as a replacement for the screen on my MacBook A1342. The product arrived 6 days earlier than expected. Installation was very easy using the iFixit MacBook Unibody Model A1342 LCD Replacement guide. I used the appropriate screwdrivers, but I used a credit card instead of a spudger.Note about the guide: The last step in the guide is not that clear. There is a metal rectangular bracket on the display data cable socket that needs to be flipped down first, then you just slide the screen out of the socket. To reassemble, you need to slide the screen back into the socket, then flip the metal bracket back up onto the socket, securing the connection. I found it easier to turn my laptop upside down during this step, to keep the socket well above the display recess.Note about red cluster of pixels on the bottom left screen: I thought those were stuck pixels until I read other reviews and realized I had to remove an additional film flush against the surface of the screen. What a relief it was just that. I didn't know it was there, so be sure to catch that before reattaching the front bezel. It's an excellent product, and I'm glad it was so affordable and shipped so fast!
