This is an outstanding laptop (late 2016, 16gig,13""). I use it to run Windows on a Parallels platform; it is replacing an also outstanding 2012 MacAir. Light, bullet proof construction for mobile use, excellent screen, pretty good battery life. The touch bar is proving to be a fantastic addition using ""Better Touch Tool"" I have been able to streamline work flow in multiple programs with my own custom built buttons which pop up when that particular program is active. For instance with the touch of a finger a record is annotated and filed. Hands stay on the keyboard. What a plus! especially compared to the useless row of F keys which in spite of having been present on almost every computer I have ever owned (starting in 1987 and including 20 other laptops!?? hmmm, first 3 had no F-keys: Original MacBook,MacBook 520-bullet proof, AST-800-worthless). Side benefit: screen stays free of fingerprints! If you are on the fence about the MacPro vs the MacAir- The new style MacPro is about same weight, the screen can be configured to allow you to wander with the touch pad over a much larger area (allowing access to two or three programs without using scroll bars), and again the touch bar is a very useful addition. Nonetheless, you will not go wrong with either option.
