Perfection V600 Color Photo, Image, Film, Negative Document Scanner - Corded

So I bought this scanner despite the warnings about it not working with Windows 10. I skipped installing the part of the program that others indicated shut down office. Sure enough after my first scan, the scanner would not work using the buttons on the machine. Indicates that scanner is not hooked up properly. Rather than fight it I used the icon loaded to my home screen, Epson Scanning, works every time. I'm going to keep the scanner and hope that Epson addresses the issues with Windows 10. Scanner is easy to use and produces nice scans. If not for the glitch of having to open the scanning program for each scan I would have given it a 5 star rating.

We scanned 116 original albumen photographs from the John Wesley Powell expeditions of southern Utah at 1200 DPI. The product was fantastic as were the results!

I've been using the Epson Perfection V600 flatbed scanner for a month and extremely pleased with the product. I've scanned nearly 2500 slides, 500 prints, and 100 negatives and have been extremely pleased with the quality of the scans. Epson's editing software is easy to set up and use to bring the slides, prints, and negatives back to looking new, most of the slides were made nearly 50 years ago. Very pleased with the price of the of this product as it was around $210 at the time, if you have slide to scan would highly recommend considering this scanner.
