We picked up this camera last minute before our wedding and honeymoon - opting to go with a decent camera over our cellphone cameras. Took about 400 pictures that all look great - except for one huge problem; the irreversible date stamp in every photo. As someone who's a photography novice, destructively adding a date watermark (especially as the default mode) absolutely boggles my digital era mind when the same metadata is embedded in the digital file, non-destructively. Of course we realize we should have RTFM - but what a strange default - and awful surprise when you get home from your honeymoon. Other than this, we are happy with the camera. Word of warning though; if you're used to the easy of cellphone digital photography, just make sure you turn off destructive date stamping before you start snapping photos.
