OK, first off everything arrived in tip top shape. Make sure you get the right color :) I wasn't paying attention and ordered the wrong one the first time around. Now be warned that the install is not for the faint of heart :). Turn the phone off before destruction. The back is made of glass that shatters rather explosively and they really didn't want it coming off. Be sure to wear gloves and something for your eyes then choose your destruction area wisely. Outdoors, garage etc. It comes with a guitar pick for removal which broke right off. I used a small eye glass screwdriver which worked well if your gentle. I tried laying it on a flat surface I.E. mouse pad but found it was easiest if i just held it in one hand and did it that way. Your going to have to make love to this thing if you want a working phone at the end. I came in just above the charging port and was able to lift a section up and work out from there. The edges are the worst that's where the tape is. Now for the most important part, be very careful around the camera lens and flash. They WILL come off with the back or at least mine did and I had to dig in the trash for them. The lens is set into a metal plate if you will and will bend. I was able to straighten the plate out with no adverse effects. Be sure to clean the lens and flash while your in there. The flash just lays beside the camera with a little bitty tail that just sets on its contact relying on the cover to secure it in place..Both of these set in a recess that is easily identifiable. you will need some rubbing alcohol or something similar to clean up the residual glue grime etc. A cotton ball or Q tip works well . Just go easy on the liquid. Then once all your pieces are in place you can test fit the cover. All the sticky parts are well protected and out of the way so you can just lay it on there and make sure you have all your pieces. That's how I discovered the missing lens. Now pull the plastic off the glue and secure the cover. It's an exact fit but you can get it off center so start at one end or the other and lay it down gently. Then gently press it into place. And now for the bonus they send you a free screen protector that is pretty nice too. A nice thick one no floppy plastic junk. It's not rocket science just be careful and all will go smooth. And everything worked in the end the camera, flash and heartbeat monitor. I was sweating it for a while.
