Are you a new-ish photography lover feeling like you've made progress learning the ropes with your a6000 and kit lens? Then this what you need to buy.I've had my a6000 almost a year, and learned a lot using the kit lens, a 55-210 zoom and a ton of Google. I was thinking about getting a proper lens and saw all the great reviews on this one, so I eventually took the plunge in hopes that it would be a significant and obvious step up.Spoiler alert: it MASSIVELY is. It's super sharp, the ability to get f/1.8 is a game-changer and damn, that creamy bokeh!I'd seen someone mentioning about the plastic build of the lens - I can only assume they meant something else, because this thing is high quality metal and just screams 'I am more expensive than your kit lens'. It's really nice. You can probably tell how pumped I am about getting this lens. If you're on the fence and you have at least a few months of frequent practice with your gear, jump off the fence and buy this. If you've literally just bought your camera, take a few months, learn the ropes and get some snazzy shots with your kit lens first. You'll get a feel for the limitations of those and then have a much better understanding of this.P.S. I love this lens.
