Awesome watch. Many of the reviews hit the nail on the head. Its a very durable and functional watch with awesome features. There are a few things I want to mention though1.) The flashlight is WAY more functional than people give this credit for. In a blackout type situation, its enough to navigate without tripping.2.) Replace the factory fabric band immediately if you plan on (swimming, showering, doing dishes, washing the car, etc.). Its an unpleasant feeling wearing this while wet. And it absolutely STINKS over time with repeated water exposure. Granted it is very durable, but not ideal for water activity use. Also, the strap kind of sticks out after you thread the strap underneath the loops.3.) The battery life in the spec sheet (2 weeks) is VERY liberal. I have yet to get a full two weeks with a single charge and not utilizing any of the GPS features. I think I've gotten 10 days at best, under normal use.4.) This is really a nitpick but the GPS connection is slow to connect at times. Of course it depends on the weather and location of the satellite at time of connection but even on a clear day in a parking lot, it took 2-3 min to connect. Some days it would take 10 sec, and other times would not connect at all. Im not hiking all day everyday but if I was, Id consider this factor.5.) The Suunto Movescount app makes navigating and changing the watch settings MUCH easier and you will most likely prefer this method. Also, mapping trails and viewing other activity information is available. At the end of the day, this watch is bad ass and I would buy it again. I would love an updated version to include the improvements many have stated over the years but either way its a good buy.
