Amazing device. Best bang-for-your-buck on the market in my opinion. I have had the battery last (10) days with full use. Screen is crystal clear in bright sunshine. Heart rate moniror is very accurate and consistent.

Final a watch that is accurate on heart rate!

After many sports watches, including some budget ones, I have finally found one that actually works. The heart rate stays very close to my actual rate, which is the biggest problem with cheaper watches. The screen itself was darker than I liked, but I got use to it, and I know this is done to extend the battery life. Highly recommended.

It could be a little more user friendly but the app helps so much. Sleep is usually off but everything else is pretty accurate. Battery life is amazing! I do wish it was slimmer but after a week or so im used to it now. Not many complaints

Great watch until it died

Loved this watch until yesterday when it died in the pool. I've owned it only 1.5 years. I did not push buttons under water. Apparently, this is not an uncommon problem. If you're looking for a swimming watch, I wouldn't risk it with this watch given the expense!

I've worn this watch for about 18 months. Heart rate monitor seems to work well. Maybe once a month it would show an unrealisticly low heart rate during a workout but would eventually correct itself. Other than that it appears to be pretty accurate. GPS syncs fast and works well unless it's cloudy and/or you're under a canopy. During hot days I run primarily through a heavily wooded park on a winding road. The GPS cuts the corners so you end up running 8 miles but only get credit for running 7.5 miles. Not a big deal as long as you know the true distance you just edit your Garmin Connect. I suspect all gps watches have the same problem. By the way, the Garmin Connect app is excellent. The step counter seems to work fine. You don't get any freebies like you do with a lot of pedometers so if you're in a step challenge at work you're gonna have to earn your steps. The stair counter seem to work ok. I run a lot of hills that gives me credit for climbing stairs which I think is fair because running hills stinks. Overall the watch is pretty easy to set up and operate. I'm not real bright with stuff like this so I think most folks won't have a problem. Compared to what I hear about other watches the battery on this watch is very good. I run 4 days a week for a total of about 4-5 hours and only need to re-charge every 7-10 days. It fully charges in about an hour which is nice because I've gotten used to wearing the watch 24/7. I only have one problem with the watch. During runs I have the most interest is seeing 4 things. Current pace, lap pace, total distance, and heart rate. With this watch those 4 metrics are on 3 different screens. The watch has a touch screen so all you have to do is swipe to go to the next screen which works well until your hands get sweaty. I used to carry a paper towel to dry my finger but ended up giving up on that. It's for that reason I just ordered the Garmin Forerunner 35. Looks like you can customize some of what you see during a run with the 35 and if you want to change screen you do it with buttons. I only run, walk, or bike so the 35 will do everything I do and only hope it works as well as this watch while doing it. If you don't sweat like a pig during a run like I do this is an outstanding watch.

I've had it for a few months. I love this watch. The battery life is amazing. I charge it once a week. It keeps track of everything you do, even your sleep patterns. I run a lot, so the fact that it keeps track of your runs is great. But it also keep track of your heart rate when you weight lift.

I love this Garmin watch, a world of information. Plus get a bonus of cheaper health insurance once you dial it all in. The face is large enough for a man wrist, and maybe it IS a man watch. I wear on my ankle, sort of looks like I'm on house arrest ;) Doesn't bother me to wear it to bed, as it tracks your light sleep and deep sleep. I put the golf app on, an it is very cool. Love it, you will 2.
