For the most part, I think this is a great little unit. The first few rounds, I found it to be very accurate (I play in the Chicago area). Like, I'd be standing on the 150 marker and the GPS would say 150. The battery life is great, too. I found I could get 2+ rounds out of it.My reason for deducting a star I took it to Whistler, BC and I'm not sure if its a location issue or a mountain issue, but the accuracy went way down. It would say I was on a hole that I was nowhere near. Also, One of the courses I played, I just gave up and turned it off, so keep that in mind if you're deliberating between this and one of those range finders.I played a course in Chicago this weekend where this unit said 150 but the yardage on the course said 170. I played my 170 yard shot and it was clearly 170. Not sure why there was a 20 yard discrepancy So I don't know, maybe it was an issue with trees or satellites.Overall I'm happy with it and Id recommend it but the next thing I'll get will be a range finder.
